Morning hush

Morning Hush captures the quiet stillness of the coast at first light. Soft layers of chalky white, muted blush pink and the palest blue create a gentle, atmospheric landscape, interrupted by a richly textured horizon of warm earthy tones.
Built up with layers of acrylic and palette-knife texture, the painting has a beautifully tactile surface while retaining a calm, understated simplicity. The subtle pink undertones bring warmth to the piece, reminiscent of the soft glow that appears across the sea and shoreline in the early morning.
Inspired by the coastal landscapes that surround me in Kefalonia, Morning Hush is about that fleeting moment before the day begins, peaceful, hazy and completely still.
