Stillness

Stillness is a quiet study in soft whites, chalky neutrals and barely-there warm tones. Layers of palette-knife texture create the suggestion of a distant shoreline or hazy landscape, while the restrained palette leaves space for the viewer to find their own sense of place.
There is a feeling of calm after movement, that moment when the sea settles, the horizon softens and everything becomes beautifully still. Subtle variations in texture catch the light, giving the piece depth while retaining its peaceful, minimalist simplicity.
Inspired by the washed-out coastal light and natural landscapes that influence Muted Palette, Stillness is designed to bring a sense of quiet, softness and breathing space to an interior.
